Hi all!
Growing up, the Disney channel used to show old time tv shows from way back in the day.
Recently, I found one of the old shows (the intire series!) on youtube. It's awesome!
Watching it now; I can't believe how much more I understand of it.
The show was call Disney's Zorro. It ran from 1957 to 1959/60 on tv. I don't know if it is shown on other networks as of now but if it is I don't have it.
My brother got me the dvd set for Christmas one year but (I know this's kinda dumb.) I couldn't figure out how to work a dvd player.
It's an awesome show! Has anyone else seen it? Any other fans? :)
Awww, they used to show that on Saturday afternoons back when I was seven and we first got the Disney Channel. Man, it was different back then. My absolute favorite show from that time was Ocean Girl. Threw a freakin' tantrum every time I had to miss it!

I don't remember that show! :( What was it about? Very cool at least I'm not the only one who knows about the old time Disney shows..and you're right..so different now!!
Unfortunately, I never got Disney channel until sometime in the late nineties. So, I probably missed a lot of the shows that you all are talking about. Though I do remember that I got it in the final months and years of them showing shows/movies without commercial interruptions. I also still remember that the first movie that I watched when I first got that channel was the older version of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
I had the channel and have enjoyed a movie or so.
I really never had time to sit an get in to it though. I do know about the older shows, but I'm really not up on them.
I thought it was good entertainment if you had the time.
Yep... I remember seeing the old Narnia movie for the first time on Disney Channel. They showed all the classics back then... Polly Anna, all the old Parent Trap movies, Escape to Witch Mountain, and Old Yeller, just to name a few. Then they showed some stuff that was new back then, such as All dogs Go to Heaven, Cool Runnings, and Trading Mom. Ah, the memories!
Ocean Girl is about a couple of kids who live in an underwater research facility in Australia and who meet a girl named Neri who lives by herself on an island. She's kind of like a mermaid, but later in the show you find out why she has the abilities she has. It's a really neat show.

I remember the parent trap..the older one I mean..wow! Totally forgot about it!
I didn't know there was an older movie of Narnia. I don't know much about it so most likely why I missed it or don't remember.
